THE FEDERAL BLUES  INVESTIGATION

 The FBI are a seven piece blues band, established in the late eighties by a handful of very keen musicians, eager to reproduce the sounds of the blues brothers movie, and subsequent albums. This was their mission, which was taken as seriously as Jake and Elwood Blues took theirs!
Although well over ten years on from the first rehearsal stage, and the act  only boasting  one original member, the fundamental principles of what the FBI were about then, still remain.

First of all, this was going to be a highly entertaining,  slick show,  with no corner cutting.  Secondly, that the execution of the music being performed would be in accordance with the original songs, as per Blues Brothers, with the emphasis on musicianship. And thirdly, that this act would not compromise itself under any circumstances.

 The nett result is the continuing success of  the FBI, not only on the college and university circuit, but also at corporate events, military bases, wedding receptions, company promotions, night clubs and geographically, just about anywhere in the world.

The FBI are comfortable in any working environment. From black tie engagements, to 18th birthday parties. The performance is never sub standard. All the classic blues brothers hits plus the unforgettable hits of James Brown, Wilson Picket and Otis Redding.  This is serious party stuff!
